NIO's Firefly all-electric compact car is about to reach its 70,000th delivery milestone. The model began initial deliveries on April 29, 2025, and achieved its 60,000th delivery on May 23—adding 10,000 units in just over a month. The vehicle is available through two purchasing options: full vehicle purchase or BaaS (Battery as a Service) battery leasing, priced at RMB 119,800–125,800 and RMB 79,800–85,800, respectively. Exterior-wise, the new model retains the signature "Trio" headlight design and features dual-tone alloy wheels inspired by star trails. Inside, it boasts a 13.2-inch 2.5K high-resolution central touchscreen and a 6-inch dynamic instrument cluster, complemented by a through-type center console layout. New features include the "Little Blue Light" intelligent driving assistance indicator, auto-dipping side mirrors with memory function during reversing, a Firefly Band ambient lighting ring, and customizable door-locking light and sound effects that sync with voice commands. The vehicle measures 4,003 mm long, 1,781 mm wide, and 1,557 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,615 mm. It adopts a single-motor configuration delivering a maximum output of 120 kW. The standard-range variant is equipped with a 42.1 kWh battery pack weighing 314 kg, offering a CLTC-rated range of 420 kilometers.
