The all-new BMW X5 M60 is scheduled for official launch in 2027, powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine expected to deliver a maximum output of 448 kW (609 hp) and peak torque of 800 N·m. The latest-generation BMW X5 was unveiled on June 30, 2024, featuring BMW’s newest design language. It measures 4,994 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,751 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,035 mm. The vehicle will be offered with five powertrain options: gasoline, diesel, plug-in hybrid, all-electric, and hydrogen fuel cell. The cabin follows the unified interior design of BMW’s Neue Klasse models, with a dashboard similar to that of the i3 and an overall aesthetic closely aligned with the updated 7 Series. A standard 17.9-inch central touchscreen is complemented by an optional 14.6-inch passenger display. The steering wheel features the vertical-spoke design characteristic of Neue Klasse vehicles, though selecting the M Sport package replaces it with a traditional M Sport steering wheel. Positioned below the windshield, the panoramic iDrive display system integrates an AI assistant capable of controlling in-car functions and answering everyday queries.
