Yijing Unveils "SkyShield" Security Architecture; First Vehicle X9 to Launch and Deliver in Q3

Yijing Auto has unveiled its proprietary "Celestial Shield" safety architecture, encompassing six key dimensions: intelligent driving safety, active safety, passive safety, battery safety, rescue safety, and health safety. The architecture integrates Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and supports the CAS 5.0 collision avoidance system. The vehicle body features a B-pillar made of 2400 MPa hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel, door rings constructed from 2300 MPa ultra-high-strength steel, and side-door anti-intrusion beams rated at 2300 MPa. The battery, supplied by CATL, is protected by triple-layer bulletproof-grade armor and aerospace-grade aerogel insulation. Yijing’s first model, the X9, rolled off the trial production line on June 8 at the Chengdu Economic & Technological Development Zone and is scheduled to launch and begin nationwide deliveries in the third quarter of this year. Measuring 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, the X9 comes standard across all trims with Huawei Qiankun’s “Triple Light Suite,” comprising the HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel intelligent projection headlights, HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projector, and HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display. Additionally, Yijing plans to launch five new models over the next three years.
