NIO officially began deliveries of the ES9 six-seater with center aisle configuration on July 6, ahead of the originally scheduled mid-July timeline. The model is available through two purchasing options: full vehicle purchase starting at RMB 498,000, or battery-as-a-service (BaaS) starting at RMB 390,000. The ES9 was launched on May 27 and commenced nationwide initial deliveries the following day, May 28. Its full-vehicle price range spans from RMB 498,000 to RMB 628,000, while the BaaS pricing ranges from RMB 390,000 to RMB 520,000. All ES9 variants feature a 2+2+2 six-seat layout and offer two second-row configurations. The "Center Island" version, which went into delivery on May 28, comes equipped with a fixed intelligent executive center console integrating 11 features, including dual-wing aviation-grade executive tables, an 8.8L in-car refrigerator, and a 9.4L smart safe. The "Center Aisle" version provides a central passage approximately 230mm wide between the two independent second-row seats, facilitating easier access to the third row for elderly passengers and children—making it better suited for multi-child families or three-generation households. Both versions share identical core specifications—including pricing, powertrain, and chassis—with differences limited solely to interior cabin layout.
