NIO's Average Transaction Price Hits RMB 443,000 in June; ES8 Five-Seater Launches July 9

NIO Vice President Ma Lin revealed that the average transaction price of NIO-branded vehicles reached RMB 443,000 in June 2024. That month, NIO delivered a total of 40,597 new vehicles, marking a record high for the year and representing a 62.9% year-over-year increase. Deliveries of NIO-branded vehicles specifically totaled 21,908 units, up 50.1% year-over-year. Ma also announced that the NIO ES8 Large Five-Seater will officially launch on July 9 and is now open for reservations. The vehicle measures 5,280 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. It features NIO’s full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, a dual-motor intelligent all-wheel-drive system, and an intelligent terrain mode. Standard equipment includes a 102 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 655 km. In terms of specifications, the new model comes equipped with the latest “Cedar” software version, NIO’s self-developed Shengji NX9031 chip, and an updated version of NIO World Model. Additional features include a 21.4-inch Mini LED “Sky Display,” the Tianqin 8.1.4.2 immersive audio system, an 8.8L electrically operated smart refrigerator, and the Shenshang Intelligent Chassis.
