On July 6, Li Xueyong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile, announced the launch of the Jetour Traveller, a new X-Series SUV targeted at young consumers. The vehicle features a boxy design with a closed-off front fascia and retro dual round headlights, complemented by airflow ducts on both sides to enhance aerodynamic performance. Powering the Traveller is a 275-kilowatt electric motor paired with an XWD fully automatic intelligent all-wheel-drive system. For intelligent driving assistance, it is equipped with the Falcon 500 ADAS. The body structure incorporates high-strength steel accounting for 80% of its composition, delivering a torsional rigidity of 30,000 N·m/deg. Additionally, the vehicle offers a 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply function. The company stated that the Jetour Traveller will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, though pre-sale details and final pricing have not yet been disclosed.
