Geely recently released a teaser image of its new sedan. The vehicle’s silhouette resembles the Xingrui, featuring a rear spoiler and a shark-fin antenna, with what appears to be a LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof. Based on prior filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), this model is expected to be the Xingrui L90 (official name not yet announced), which completed MIIT registration in June. Positioned as a mid-size sedan, the new model measures 4,956 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm. Its curb weights are listed as 1,495 kg and 1,535 kg, with a gross vehicle weight of 1,940 kg. It has a rated seating capacity of five passengers and a top speed of 205 km/h. Compared to the current Xingrui (4,825 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, 1,469 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase), the new model is larger in all dimensions, making it the largest vehicle in the Xingrui family. According to MIIT data, the vehicle will be offered with three powertrain options: a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (model BHE15-GFZ, displacement 1,499 cc, maximum output 148 kW, net power 143 kW), a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (maximum output 200 kW), and a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system (engine maximum output 120 kW). The car complies with China’s National VI emission standards and is equipped with an ABS system and an Event Data Recorder (EDR) manufactured by Bosch (Suzhou), along with anti-lock braking functionality.
