Toyota Unveils Aqua GR Sport with New Sport Kit and Hybrid System

Toyota has recently released official images of the Aqua GR Sport. Based on the updated 2026 model, this compact hybrid hatchback is priced at ¥3,238,400 (approximately RMB 136,000). Exterior-wise, the new model features a fresh body kit, giving it a lower, more aggressive stance. The front bumper has been redesigned with aerodynamic extensions integrated into the air intakes. Black side skirts, 17-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers bearing the GR logo adorn the sides. At the rear, the GR Sport styling continues with a diffuser featuring a honeycomb pattern on the rear bumper and a new black trim strip connecting the taillights. Additionally, exclusive optional accessories such as fender air deflectors and a carbon-fiber license plate frame are available. Inside, the cabin is equipped with integrated sport seats, and GR badges appear on the headrests and steering wheel. The center console prioritizes practicality, retaining numerous physical buttons and supporting Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. The powertrain remains unchanged, continuing to use the 1.5-liter HEV hybrid system. However, the GR Sport variant receives additional underbody bracing and features retuned suspension and steering systems.
