The Roewe Jia Yue 07, a mid-to-large five-seater SUV, will be equipped with Momenta's R7 World Model advanced intelligent driving assistance system and deeply integrated with Volcano Engine's Doubao large model series 2.0, enabling AI large models to orchestrate, make decisions for, and control physical devices. This vehicle marks the first model in the "new AI-native series" co-developed by SAIC Roewe and Volcano Engine, and is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year. The new SUV offers six exterior color options: Dragon Crystal Purple, Agate Grey, Sapphire Blue, Zhenxi Black, Diamond White, and Jade Green. Its design features an architectural dual-vertical aesthetic, with nearly 90-degree vertical angles at both the front and rear ends, enhancing visual solidity and a sense of order. The front fascia debuts an industry-first full-width integrated headlamp housing nearly 3,000 intricately arranged embossed star-like elements. The body incorporates semi-flush door handles and includes a dedicated blue indicator light for driver-assistance functions. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 1.5L gasoline range-extender engine (model 15FMC) produced by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited. With a displacement of 1,498 cc, the engine delivers a maximum output of 72 kW and a maximum net power of 70 kW. The drive motor has a rated power of 60 kW and a peak power of 162 kW. Energy storage is provided by a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack manufactured by Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd., with individual cells supplied by Jiangsu Zhengli New Energy Battery Technology Co., Ltd. The vehicle supports external charging and complies with China’s National VI emission standards.
