The "Cumulative Assisted Driving Mileage" displayed on Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving official website continues to scroll even when disconnected from the internet, drawing public attention. In response, Huawei Qiankun clarified that this data is derived from the actual driving mileage of vehicles equipped with the Qiankun ADS (Advanced Driving System), aggregated anonymously and dynamically presented. The webpage fetches the latest mileage data from the backend server every few seconds and smoothly animates the incremental change between consecutive updates through continuous scrolling, preventing display stuttering caused by network latency or performance fluctuations. If the network connection is briefly interrupted, the page continues scrolling based on the last successfully retrieved data, with the scrolling duration proportional to the mileage increase reflected in that data update. If no new data is received for an extended period, the scrolling gradually stops. As of the date of this statement, the cumulative assisted driving mileage of Qiankun Intelligent Driving has exceeded 12.5 billion kilometers. Huawei stated it will continue to publish safety-related mobility reports based on real-world driving data, welcome user oversight, and support the advancement of the intelligent connected vehicle industry.
