On July 8, Zeng Qinglin, General Manager of the Yijing automotive brand, announced a fan engagement campaign to celebrate the Argentine national football team’s performance in the World Cup: starting from Argentina’s match against Egypt, Yijing will award the usage rights of one vehicle for every goal scored by the team. The initiative originated from a casual joke among friends and aims to share the joy of victory with fans. In the match held that day, Argentina came from behind to defeat Egypt 3–2. According to the campaign rules, Yijing will grant usage rights to three vehicles. Winners will be selected via a lottery, with specific eligibility criteria and participation details to be unveiled at the Yijing X9 pre-sale launch event. Each winner will receive one-year usage rights to the Yijing X9 model; the actual vehicle delivered will depend on availability at the time, and terms of use will be governed by a “Vehicle Usage Agreement” signed by both parties. The goal-counting period for this campaign begins at 00:00 on July 8 and will continue until the conclusion of Argentina’s final match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Only goals scored during regular playing time and extra time from open play will be counted; goals from penalty shootouts or penalty-kick tiebreakers will not be included. Yijing Automotive is the official China regional partner of the Argentine national football team. Its debut model, the Yijing X9, was co-designed by Yijing and Huawei Qiankun, and is slated to feature HarmonyOS cockpit technology and Huawei’s ADS intelligent driving assistance system. The vehicle will offer a six-seat layout and is scheduled for market launch and delivery in the third quarter of 2026.
