Official images of the Alpine A110 FUTURE prototype have been officially released. The vehicle is scheduled to make its public debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. As the electric test and development version of the third-generation Alpine A110, it is built on the new Alpine Performance Platform and positioned as “the world’s first true electric sports car.” The body and suspension utilize lightweight aluminum materials to keep overall weight under control, targeting a curb weight below 1,450 kg. Significantly flared wheel arches widen the track for enhanced cornering stability while preserving the mid-engine sports car’s signature handling dynamics. Powering the car is a dual-motor, three-in-one electric drive axle equipped with a silicon carbide (SiC) inverter and compatible with an 800V high-voltage architecture. The battery features a split layout, with one pack mounted on each axle to achieve a 40:60 front-to-rear weight distribution, while also lowering the cabin height to maintain a low center of gravity.
