On July 8, Chery Automobile announced a donation of RMB 10 million in cash and supplies—through the China Charity Federation—to disaster-affected areas in Guangxi for emergency relief, displaced resident resettlement, and post-disaster reconstruction. Of this amount, RMB 5 million is in cash, specifically allocated for rescue operations and essential aid to affected residents, while the remaining RMB 5 million consists of supplies aimed at meeting basic living needs and supporting recovery efforts in the disaster zones. Chery’s brands—including Chery, Exeed, Jetour, iCAR, and Zhijie—will coordinate with local authorities on flood relief, road transportation, civilian rescue operations, and post-disaster recovery initiatives.
