Lantu Dreamer 9 Launches in H2, Targeting the $50K Smart Luxury MPV Segment

On July 8, VOYAH Automobile announced that its flagship MPV, internally codenamed "Mount Qomolangma," will be officially named the "VOYAH Dreamer 9." Scheduled for launch in the second half of this year, the vehicle targets the premium RMB 500,000 price segment. It will be equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun Intelligent Driving system, and the company has defined its core identity as “Series 9 – Intelligent & Prestige”: “9” signifies its flagship positioning; “Intelligent” refers to its L3-grade autonomous driving architecture and 12 industry-first features; and “Prestige” highlights its MPV-exclusive cabin design and all-scenario mobility experience. The VOYAH Dreamer series has been on the market for four years, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 200,000 units. More than half of its customers have switched from traditional luxury brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi (BBA). The new Dreamer 9 marks VOYAH’s first entry into the RMB 500,000 price bracket, aiming to fill a gap in the high-end new energy MPV market—where no existing model currently excels across all four key dimensions: spaciousness, intelligence, chassis performance, and cabin comfort. In the RMB 500,000 segment, current six- or seven-seat competitors include the AITO M9, Denza D9, Zeekr 009, Buick Century, and Toyota Alphard. However, most compromise in areas such as third-row comfort, advanced intelligent driving capabilities, chassis stability, or safety features. VOYAH believes this细分 market has long been influenced by an “SUV bias,” resulting in a lack of truly balanced MPV offerings. Developed based on VOYAH’s four years of MPV engineering expertise, the Dreamer 9 benefits from mature advancements in body structure, electrified powertrain systems, chassis tuning, and safety standards. Key features include a 2,000 MPa ultra-high-strength body frame, comprehensive battery protection, and multi-chamber air suspension. Moreover, Huawei’s Qiankun L3 intelligent driving system has been specially calibrated for MPV-specific use cases, optimizing performance in narrow parking garages, long-distance highway cruising, and congested urban environments. Additionally, the Dreamer 9 debuts 12 industry-first technologies spanning perception, chassis control, and cabin interaction, all supported by full-vehicle OTA updates. Its target users include business professionals who prioritize second-row hospitality and long-haul driver assistance, as well as multi-child families seeking third-row comfort and holistic vehicle safety. Although both part of Huawei’s intelligent driving ecosystem, the Dreamer 9 and AITO M9 pursue distinct product strategies: the M9 is built on an SUV platform, while the Dreamer 9 is purpose-built for MPVs, with intelligent driving logic optimized specifically for its body form. VOYAH emphasizes that the Dreamer 9 is not intended to replace existing models but rather to offer RMB 500,000-budget buyers an alternative that harmonizes intelligence and comfort. VOYAH plans a comprehensive high-end MPV portfolio: the RMB 300,000-level Dreamer Champion Edition will serve the mainstream family market, the RMB 500,000 Dreamer 9 will cater to premium intelligent luxury demands, and a customized variant targeting the RMB 700,000 tier is also in development.
