Affected by Typhoon Maysak, many areas in Guangxi have experienced continuous heavy rainfall in recent days, causing severe flooding in cities such as Guilin, Liuzhou, and Hezhou, significantly disrupting residents' lives and livelihoods. On July 8, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. donated cash and supplies worth a total of RMB 10 million to disaster-stricken areas in Guangxi through the China Charity Federation to support flood relief, evacuation efforts, and post-disaster reconstruction. Of this donation, RMB 5 million is in cash, specifically allocated for emergency rescue operations and assistance to affected residents, while the remaining RMB 5 million consists of essential supplies to meet basic living needs and support recovery efforts in the affected regions. Chery’s brands—including Chery, Exeed, Jetour, iCAR, and Zhijie—will coordinate with local authorities on flood relief, transportation logistics, rescue operations, and post-disaster recovery. Relief efforts are currently progressing in an orderly manner.
