Mercedes-Benz Group delivered a total of 511,900 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in the second quarter of 2026, down 6% year-over-year. Passenger car sales amounted to 417,800 units, an 8% decline compared to the same period last year. Sales in China reached 98,600 units, a sharp 30% decrease year-over-year. The Group attributed the decline in the Chinese market primarily to intensified competition and the transitional ramp-up phase of new product production. Meanwhile, global sales of all-electric vehicles reached 63,000 units in the quarter, up 50% year-over-year. For the first half of 2026, the Group’s cumulative sales totaled 837,200 units, down 7% year-over-year, while cumulative electric vehicle sales reached 97,100 units, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year.
