The all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC SUV officially launched on July 8, with three variants available: the Hui Yin Edition (5-seater) priced at RMB 299,900, the Liu Jin Edition (5-seater) at RMB 339,800, and the Xing Bo Edition (4+2-seater) priced at RMB 388,800. The new model features Mercedes-Benz’s latest design language, highlighted by an illuminated grille embedded with 942 polycarbonate backlighting elements that support a sequential lighting effect. Star-patterned motifs are integrated into the headlights. All variants come standard with a fixed panoramic sunroof, and multiple wheel designs are available as options. Dimensions measure 4,949 mm (or 4,933 mm) in length, 1,970 mm (or 1,914 mm) in width, and 1,710 mm (or 1,690 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,027 mm, built on a unibody structure. Inside, the cabin features a dual-screen layout on the dashboard, complemented by a zoned backlighting system with 1,000 individually controlled LEDs. It also includes the “Xiao Ben” virtual assistant, wireless smartphone charging, dual cup holders, and a Burmester sound system with 19 speakers. The six-seat variant offers optional second-row individual seats with ventilation and heating functions. Powered by an 800V electrical architecture, the vehicle is equipped with CATL ternary lithium-ion batteries. The standard version delivers a CLTC-rated range of 680 km, while the long-range variant extends this to 703 km. Charging from 10% to 80% takes just 22 minutes.
