National passenger vehicle retail sales data for June 2026 show that new energy vehicles (NEVs) continue to dominate the market. The Tesla Model Y ranked first with sales of 38,654 units, followed by the Wuling Xingyuan and Leapmotor A10 at second and third places with 33,359 and 24,865 units sold, respectively. The Li Auto i6 and Xiaomi SU7 came in fourth and fifth, with sales of 21,453 and 20,414 units, respectively. The Changan Qiyuan Q05, BYD Yuan UP, and BYD Song Pro DM ranked sixth through eighth, each selling between 17,000 and 19,000 units. Two internal combustion engine models—the Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Lavida—entered the top ten with sales of 17,114 and 15,444 units, respectively, benefiting from recent reductions in domestic refined oil prices. Meanwhile, NEV manufacturers saw a reduction in end-customer discounts during the same period due to rising costs of raw materials and automotive-grade chips.
