On July 9, 2024, Lotus unveiled its product lineup for the second half of 2026 for the first time, advancing its "Focus 2030" strategy with plans to simultaneously launch internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid, and fully electric models. The lineup includes: the Emira Scura, featuring classic color schemes; the Emira 420 Sport, continuing the brand’s lightweight design philosophy; the high-performance all-electric "Golden Twin 900" duo comprising the Emeya and Eletre; and the For Me special edition, inspired by British heritage. Additionally, in May this year, Lotus CEO Feng Qingfeng stated that the new Emira would be equipped with a newly developed engine from Horse Powertrain. Horse Powertrain is a 50:50 joint venture between Geely and Renault focused on powertrain systems. Codenamed W30, the engine features a V6 layout, weighs 160 kg—making it at least 10 kg lighter than existing mass-produced V6 engines—and is among the most compact mass-produced V6 engines currently available on the market.
