Porsche Global Deliveries Drop 16% in First Half

Porsche announced on July 9 that its global deliveries totaled 122,306 vehicles in the first half of 2024, a 16% decline compared to the same period last year. The main factors behind the sales drop include the discontinuation of the combustion-engine 718 models, a high base effect from strong demand for the all-electric Macan in 2023, and the expiration of U.S. tax incentives for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
