The Li Auto i9 all-electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle has been listed in the 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" for new product disclosure. The vehicle measures 5,225 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,752 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,168 mm, front track of 1,682 mm, and rear track of 1,707 mm. It is rated for six occupants and has a maximum speed of 200 km/h. Its curb weight is either 2,745 kg or 2,780 kg, with a gross vehicle weight of 3,300 kg. The car features a unibody construction and is equipped with tires sized either 265/45R21 or HL265/40R22. Neither the front nor rear suspension uses leaf springs. In terms of powertrain, the front motor delivers a maximum output of 150 kW, and the rear motor delivers 250 kW. These motors are supplied by Suzhou Inovance United Power System Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Li Auto Drive Technology Co., Ltd., respectively. The energy storage system uses ternary lithium-ion traction batteries, with individual cells provided by Sunwoda and Jiangsu Contemporary Amperex Technology, and the battery pack assembled by Zhejiang Li Auto Battery Co., Ltd. Standard equipment includes an anti-lock braking system (ABS model ESP10, manufactured by Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.) and an Event Data Recorder (EDR). An ETC onboard unit is available as an optional feature. Additionally, the vehicle offers multiple wheel rim designs, rear badging options, and optional side- or rear-mounted LiDAR units.
