The Changan Qiyuan A05L all-electric sedan has been listed in the 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" for new product disclosure. The vehicle is produced by Chongqing Lingyao Automobile Co., Ltd., with dimensions of 4,800 mm (length) × 1,870 mm (width) × 1,505 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm, offering seating for five passengers. Four variants have been submitted for approval, with curb weights of 1,645 kg, 1,440 kg, 1,615 kg, and 1,550 kg, corresponding to gross vehicle weights of 2,045 kg, 1,840 kg, 2,045 kg, and 1,950 kg, respectively. Tire options include 225/55R17 or 225/50R18. In terms of powertrain, one variant is equipped with an XTDM79 drive motor manufactured by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., delivering a peak power output of 200 kW and a top speed of 180 km/h. The other three variants feature the TZ180XS002 drive motor produced by Chongqing Tsingshan Industry Co., Ltd., with a peak power of 120 kW and a maximum speed of 150 km/h. All variants use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The battery cells are supplied by Times Changan Power Battery Co., Ltd., while the battery packs are assembled by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. Optional features include an ETC onboard unit, an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system, and exterior roof options such as a metal roof or a glass roof.
