On July 10, a set of road-testing photos taken at Germany's Nürburgring circuit revealed Toyota's GR GT high-performance prototype undergoing testing alongside the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The prototype exhibits clear differences from the standard GR GT, with a stronger focus on track performance—featuring a sharper front lip, dive planes, and fender vents up front, as well as a fixed rear wing at the back. Compared to the race-dedicated Toyota GR GT3 race car, this prototype retains more road-car characteristics, omitting pure racing features such as side-exit exhausts and Lexan polycarbonate windows.
