At the "Inflection Point" themed Rising Stars Annual Conference held in Guangzhou on July 10–11, 2026, Zheng Jun, Founder and CEO of JETC Technology, stated that China's intelligent driving sector has been in a state of chaotic competition in recent years, with some products improperly using consumer-grade chips in automotive-grade applications and the industry suffering from overhyped marketing that exceeds actual capabilities. With the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently issuing regulations that clearly define "intelligent driving" as "intelligent driver assistance," the industry is accelerating its return to rationality.
