FAW-Volkswagen ID. AURA T6 Interior Debut: Features Heavy-Duty Rear Tray Table and 90L Front Trunk

The 2026 Changchun International Auto Show opened on July 11, where FAW-Volkswagen unveiled the ID. AURA T6 on its exhibition stand, marking the first public debut of the vehicle’s full interior. The car measures 4,811 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,836 mm, delivering an impressive cabin space utilization rate of 85.3%. The cabin features extensive use of soft-touch, skin-friendly materials combined with chrome accents. The front passenger seat is a “Queen Seat” offering 12-way electric adjustment, equipped with ten-point massage, ventilation, heating, and welcome memory functions, and built with a ten-layer pressure-relieving and vibration-dampening structure. The front seats can be folded flat with a single button press and automatically return to their original position; when folded, they align seamlessly with the rear seat cushion to create a flat, 1.8-meter-long lounging area. The rear seats come with a high-load-bearing tray table and expandable magnetic eco-interfaces, allowing for optional accessories such as phone holders, eye-care lamps, and vanity mirrors. The vehicle also offers a 220V external power supply, supporting outdoor scenarios like camping cooking and mobile entertainment. For the first time in a Volkswagen-branded model, the ID. AURA T6 features a 90-liter front trunk equipped with a full-perimeter sealing strip and drainage channels, enabling waterproofing, dust resistance, dry-wet separation, and odor isolation. The vehicle includes a total of 38 storage compartments, with a standard trunk capacity of 576 liters, expandable to 1,796 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
