The Great Wall WEY V8X EV has completed its new product application under the 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." This vehicle is a battery electric multi-purpose passenger car with a five-seat layout, offering multiple exterior customization options, including front/rear bumpers, streaming media cameras, side window trim strips, body decorative strips, side-view cameras, side mirrors, rear emblems, door handles, rear license plate brackets, wheels, brake calipers, and an ETC onboard unit. It is also equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system. The vehicle is available in two body lengths (5,000 mm or 5,040 mm) and two heights (1,808 mm or 1,823 mm), with a uniform width of 2,025 mm, a wheelbase of 2,968 mm, a front track of 1,736 mm, and a rear track of 1,726 mm. Its curb weight is 2,545 kg, gross vehicle weight is 3,000 kg, and top speed is 220 km/h. Powering the vehicle are dual motors—one on the front axle (220 kW) and one on the rear axle (320 kW). It uses nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium-ion batteries produced by SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and features an anti-lock braking system (ABS) supplied by ZF Automotive Technology (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. Available tire sizes include 255/50R20, HL255/50R21, and 275/45R21.
