From July 9 to 12, BYD unveiled the new all-electric supercar "Denza Z" from its premium brand Denza at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, with a starting price of £142,900 (approximately RMB 1.3 million). This move marks BYD's further expansion into the UK passenger vehicle market. Since entering the UK in 2013, BYD has operated in electric buses and energy storage, and officially launched its passenger vehicles in March 2023, introducing more than ten models locally to date. The General Manager of BYD UK stated that the company’s current product lineup does not yet cover all market segments, and it plans to bring in additional models to meet the diverse needs of consumers.
