Harmony Intelligent Mobility Unveils Innovative Features for S9: LC Smart Glass, Tailgate Kitchen Kit, and Retractable Roof Tent

Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, introduced multiple innovative features of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility AITO G9 via video. The vehicle is equipped with LC electrochromic glass for its windows, enabling one-touch rapid tinting. It offers an optional tailgate kitchen kit featuring outdoor cooking equipment such as an induction cooktop and a sink. Additionally, the roof includes a pop-up tent accessible from inside the cabin, which supports temperature control using the car’s in-cabin health-focused climate system and air conditioning. Positioned as a full-size SUV, the AITO G9 measures 5,206 mm (or 5,377 mm) in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,897 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. All variants come standard with Huawei’s self-developed electric motor, all-wheel-drive system, and 800V high-voltage extended-range technology, delivering a CLTC combined driving range exceeding 1,300 kilometers. The vehicle also integrates Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR along with three solid-state LiDAR units, enabling full-scenario intelligent driving assistance. The new model is scheduled for an official launch in the third quarter and will debut Huawei’s latest communication technology.
