FAW Yueyi 08 Launches with BEV and EREV Versions, Starting at RMB 99,900

FAW Yueyi officially launched its all-new model, the Yueyi 08, on July 12. The vehicle is available in six configurations, with an official price range of RMB 99,900 to RMB 139,900, accompanied by multiple launch-day purchase incentives. As the first flagship B+-segment family-oriented coupe from FAW Yueyi, the Yueyi 08 targets young families and offers both battery-electric and range-extended powertrain options. Exterior-wise, the Yueyi 08 features a closed-off front grille and split headlight clusters. Its “Starry Waterfall” lighting design draws inspiration from the Lushan Waterfall. The car sports a sleek fastback silhouette, complemented by 21-inch tri-tone sporty alloy wheels and semi-flush door handles. It measures 4,920 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, 1,480 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. At the rear, it adopts split taillights: an upper-level light bar that spans the entire width and lower vertical light strips. Inside, the cabin embraces a minimalist yet homely aesthetic, highlighted by a floating 15.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, the interior runs Yueyi’s self-developed Ruyi intelligent cockpit system. The asymmetric, wrap-around cockpit layout emphasizes driver-focused ergonomics on the left and passenger comfort with a sense of occasion on the right. Additional features include dual cup holders, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade. In terms of performance, the battery-electric variant is equipped with a drive motor delivering a maximum output of 202 kW. Specific details for the range-extended version have not yet been disclosed.
