The all-new Aito M9 was launched in May this year, offering two variants: a standard version and an Ultimate Ling Shi extended version, with a starting price of RMB 479,800. The vehicle features the industry’s first dual-million-pixel full-color intelligent projection headlight technology. These headlights incorporate million-pixel-level Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) functionality, enabling precise control over each individual pixel. When high beams are activated, the system automatically detects oncoming vehicles and pedestrians and selectively masks the corresponding areas to prevent glare, while maintaining normal illumination in all other areas—eliminating the need for frequent switching between high and low beams. Additionally, the headlights support an intelligent dynamic light carpet feature, projecting a uniform and soft "light carpet" onto the road ahead. This function integrates with the vehicle’s advanced driver-assistance systems to adjust the length of the light carpet according to vehicle speed and dynamically align it with the driving path in real time. In unlit or complex road conditions at night, it clearly illuminates lane markings, potholes, gravel, and other obstacles. For rainy or foggy weather, the system also offers active enhanced penetration lighting, proactively highlighting distant road surfaces and obstacles. The manufacturer has also clarified the functional boundaries of the “pixel-masking” capability, specifying that ADB adaptive masking is applicable only in scenarios involving detection of oncoming vehicles and pedestrians.
