Seres expects its net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the first half of 2026 to be between RMB -18.00 billion and RMB -15.00 billion, compared to a profit of RMB 29.41 billion in the same period last year. Its net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses is projected to range from RMB -25.00 billion to RMB -22.00 billion, versus RMB 24.74 billion in the corresponding period of the prior year. Specifically, the Aito automotive business is expected to report a net loss of RMB -13.00 billion to RMB -10.50 billion, with net loss after deducting non-recurring items estimated at RMB -19.50 billion to RMB -17.00 billion. The anticipated losses are primarily attributed to rising raw material prices leading to higher costs, as well as adjustments to the carrying values of certain existing assets.
