Li Hui, General Manager of Denza Auto—a brand under BYD—stated that the Midnight Blue color option of the all-new Denza Z9 GT, initially launched overseas, has garnered significant attention and positive feedback from domestic users. This color will soon be introduced to the Chinese market, achieving globally unified design. The all-new Denza Z9 GT was officially unveiled on March 5, offering both battery-electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants across five trim levels, with prices ranging from RMB 269,800 to RMB 369,800. The BEV version delivers a maximum CLTC range of 1,036 km, while the PHEV variant offers 401 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,301 km. This model is the world’s first mass-produced vehicle equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology. Its dimensions are 5,195/5,180 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. In terms of battery safety, the second-generation Blade Battery can still pass the nail penetration test after 500 flash-charging cycles and withstands bottom impact forces ten times greater than those required by China’s new national standards. The battery warranty covers free replacement if capacity falls below 77.5% within six years or 150,000 kilometers, and the battery cells are covered by a lifetime warranty.
