On July 9, Xiaomi Auto officially launched its second product series, "SkyNomad Xiaomi Pengcheng." Built on the new "Xiaomi Kunlun Architecture," this model is positioned as an intelligent, spacious SUV with variable interior configurations. Its body length is expected to range between 5.2 and 5.3 meters, directly competing against large SUVs such as the Li Auto L9 and Aito M9. Xiaomi defines its target users as "those who live with clarity and lead rich lives," aiming to expand into markets centered around multi-passenger travel and diverse lifestyle scenarios. On the same day, Li Auto announced that its flagship "9 Series" SUV family will welcome a new member—the Li i9—scheduled for an official debut in September. The i9 will feature an exclusive "Home" badge and offer a Home Edition variant, continuing the spatial philosophy introduced by the MEGA Home Family Special Edition and further enriching Li Auto’s all-electric vehicle portfolio. Li Auto now operates a dual-track product strategy, with the L Series (extended-range electric vehicles) and the i Series (battery electric vehicles). On July 8, Voyah Auto announced that its internally codenamed "Mount Everest" flagship MPV has been officially named the "Voyah Dreamer 9," targeting the premium MPV segment priced around RMB 500,000. Positioned as the "9-Series Intelligent Luxury" model, it is the world’s first MPV natively equipped with an L3-level autonomous driving architecture and debuts 12 proprietary technologies, focusing on autonomous driving, human-vehicle interaction, and cabin comfort. On July 6, Leapmotor announced its official entry into the Mexican market, with its first model, the B10, having completed local certification and commenced deliveries. The B10 underwent over a year of adaptive tuning at Stellantis Group’s testing center in Mexico, optimized specifically for local high-altitude, desert, and rainforest conditions. Leveraging Stellantis’ distribution network, Leapmotor has established more than 40 authorized service points across Mexico, with after-sales support provided by Mopar. Additional models, including the C10 and C16, will be gradually introduced afterward. Chery Group released its new energy vehicle (NEV) sales figures for the first half of 2026: total NEV sales from January to June reached 475,238 units, up 32.3% year-over-year; June alone saw sales of 113,583 units, a 58.7% increase year-over-year. Among newly launched models in the first half, over 90% were NEVs, spanning a price range from RMB 50,000 to RMB 500,000. In terms of exports, NEV export volume surged 164.9% year-over-year, with 68,949 units sold in Europe from January to May—a staggering 458.62% increase compared to the same period last year.
