Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, announced that BYD has launched the all-new B-segment fast-charging sedan, the Qin MAX, positioned above the Qin L as the "ultra-large cup" variant within the Qin family. The vehicle has already appeared on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) registration list and will be offered in both battery-electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The Qin MAX measures 4,866 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. In comparison, the Qin L measures 4,830 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,495 mm tall, with a 2,790 mm wheelbase. The battery-electric version is equipped with an electric motor delivering peak outputs of either 240 kW or 120 kW. The plug-in hybrid variant features a hybrid system combining a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, with the engine producing a maximum output of 74 kW and the motor delivering up to 175 kW. The vehicle will offer optional rear badging as either “Da Qin” or “Qin Ultra.”
