Harmony Intelligent Mobility will conduct the first live-streamed real-world range test of the Aito M9 BEV (battery electric vehicle) on July 14 at 8:00 AM, challenging a round-trip journey between Chengdu and Chongqing. Officially launched on May 27, the M9 is available in a standard-wheelbase version and an Ultimate Lingshi extended-wheelbase variant, with a starting price of RMB 479,800. Within three weeks of deliveries commencing, sales surpassed 10,000 units, setting a record as the fastest-selling model in the RMB 500,000+ segment to reach this milestone. The standard-wheelbase Aito M9 measures 5,285 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, while the extended version stretches to 5,402 mm in length with identical width and height. The BEV variant delivers a maximum CLTC-rated range of 750 km, while the range-extended version achieves a combined maximum range of 1,405 km. Its low drag coefficient of 0.249 Cd was achieved through over 100 aerodynamic optimizations, contributing to reduced energy consumption and enhanced range performance. In chassis development, the vehicle underwent a comprehensive testing system encompassing more than 50 objective evaluation dimensions and over 20 subjective experience metrics, completing six to seven iterative test cycles during the R&D phase. Durability validation involved over 1,000 test vehicles accumulating more than 16 million kilometers of total driving distance across diverse and demanding road conditions. Additionally, for the first time, chassis tuning incorporated input from a dedicated experience team and real user representatives who collaborated directly with the engineering team to balance professional-grade performance with everyday usability.
