Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Unveiled: Matches Aito M9 in Size and Space, Starting at ¥300,000

On July 13, a side-by-side photo of the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 and the Aito M9 revealed that the Pengcheng N90 is significantly larger than the M9 in terms of exterior dimensions. The N90 features sharp, straight body lines, a cross-shaped headlight cluster and a closed-off front fascia, along with full-width taillights at the rear, giving it a rugged yet family-friendly aesthetic. According to data from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Pengcheng N90 measures 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm. It offers two wheel options: 20-inch and 21-inch. Inside, the vehicle features a seven-seat layout equipped with extra-long sliding rails and a flat floor. The front seats can rotate to face the second row, creating a lounge-like seating arrangement ideal for family trips and long-distance road travel. Powering the Pengcheng N90 is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, with a front motor delivering a peak output of 210 kW and a rear motor rated at 100 kW. It uses a ternary lithium battery pack supplied by CALB and adopts a range-extended electric powertrain, balancing strong acceleration performance with extended driving range to alleviate range anxiety on long journeys. Priced around RMB 500,000, the Aito M9 emphasizes Huawei’s advanced intelligent driving capabilities and HarmonyOS-powered smart cockpit, consistently ranking among the top-selling premium SUVs. In contrast, the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 starts at RMB 300,000 and directly competes with the M9 in its segment by offering comparable—or superior—dimensions, interior space, and cabin flexibility.
