As of June 30, 2026, Xiaomi Auto has deployed a cumulative total of 2,684 test vehicles across four models over the past four years, completing more than 35.51 million kilometers of public road testing. Among these, the Xiaomi Pengcheng project—launched in October 2024 with its first test vehicle hitting the roads—had deployed 566 test vehicles by June 30, 2026, accumulating 4.28 million kilometers of driving across all 31 provincial-level administrative regions and 194 prefecture-level cities nationwide. The testing covered real-world usage scenarios including extreme heat, extreme cold, high altitude, urban congestion, highway cruising, unpaved roads, rural roads, mountainous terrain, and severe weather conditions. Test locations included Heihe (extreme cold), Turpan (extreme heat), Ngari in Tibet (high altitude at 5,380 meters), and Haikou and Guangzhou (hot and humid environments). Validation focused on battery performance under low-temperature discharge, air conditioning cooling efficiency, cold-start capability of range extenders, powertrain stability, thermal management, brake adaptability, and overall vehicle structural durability. Within dedicated test facilities, Xiaomi Auto also conducted structural durability, powertrain durability, and comprehensive durability tests—equivalent to 10–15 years of typical user ownership or 240,000–300,000 kilometers of driving. Adhering to the principle of “enduring the most extreme conditions on behalf of users first,” Xiaomi ensures vehicle reliability and user experience across all complex operating conditions.
