The all-new Hongqi H7 PHEV has officially launched blind pre-orders. Positioned as a mid-to-large plug-in hybrid sedan, the vehicle will begin nationwide pre-sales on July 17. Consumers who pay a refundable deposit of RMB 99 will enjoy two benefits: the full amount can be deducted from the final purchase price, and upon vehicle delivery, they will receive 20,000 points in the Hongqi App Store, redeemable for official merchandise and vehicle maintenance products. Exterior-wise, the new model adopts Hongqi’s new energy family design language while retaining the brand’s iconic elements, resulting in a more commanding presence. With dimensions of 5,060 mm (length) × 1,910 mm (width) × 1,480 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 2,970 mm, it meets the standards of a mid-to-large sedan and offers generous rear legroom. Inside, the cabin features a minimalist, wrap-around layout with most physical buttons removed. A floating 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Comfort-oriented features include a heated steering wheel, wireless fast charging for smartphones, ventilated/heated/massage functions for the driver’s seat, a dedicated leg rest for the front passenger, ventilated and heated rear seats, an onboard refrigerator, and an 18-speaker BOSE premium audio system. Under the hood, the entire lineup is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain, available in both front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants. The FWD version delivers an all-electric range of 240 km and a combined range of 1,954 km, while the AWD variant offers 210 km of pure electric range and over 1,500 km of total combined range. The suspension setup consists of MacPherson struts at the front and a five-link independent rear suspension, with CDC (Continuous Damping Control) variable damping shock absorbers standard across all trims.
