Qijing Auto has completed a strategic capital increase exceeding RMB 1 billion, with the corporate registration changes officially confirmed. The amendments include an expanded shareholder base, an increase in registered capital from RMB 2.1 billion to RMB 3.015 billion, board renewal filings, and the establishment of an employee stock ownership platform—marking the successful completion of the company’s market-oriented mixed-ownership reform. This round of financing attracted diverse investors, including CATL, Bosch-affiliated Boyuan Capital, CSC Financial, Shenzhen Investment Holdings, Yuexiu Capital, Suikai Investment, and Xinxing Fund—comprising both industrial and state-owned capital—and concurrently established the Hongtu No.1 employee stock ownership platform. GAC Group and its subsidiary Aion together now hold approximately 70% of shares, maintaining absolute control despite dilution. The capital increase was listed on the Guangdong United Property Rights Exchange at the end of January 2024 and closed within just over three months. Previously, the company had already completed its official name change on March 24, 2024, unifying its brand and operating entity name. Proceeds from the fundraising will be allocated toward the iterative development of new vehicle models and the expansion of nationwide sales channels. As a premium intelligent new energy brand co-developed by GAC and Huawei’s Qiankun, Qijing Auto initiated collaboration in November 2024, formally established the company and launched its brand in 2025, and introduced its debut model, the GT7, in June 2025.
