Qijing Auto has completed its industrial and commercial registration amendment, finalizing a strategic capital increase totaling RMB 1 billion. Following this round of financing, the company’s registered capital has risen from RMB 2.1 billion to RMB 3.015 billion. New investors include Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port Qinding Investment Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of CATL—as well as China Securities Investment Co., Ltd., Jiaxing Boyuan Yicheng Equity Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership), Green Innovation (Anhui) Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), and several other industry players and state-owned or centrally-administered enterprises. Qijing Auto is a joint venture between GAC Group and Huawei’s Qiankun. Its debut model, the Qijing GT7, was unveiled on June 26, equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and priced starting at RMB 209,900. The vehicle garnered over 5,200 firm orders within 24 hours of its launch. Additionally, the brand has begun teasing its second model—the intelligent five-seat SUV Qijing GX7—which will debut Huawei Harmony Cockpit’s exclusive rest mode featuring a “one-click bed” function that transforms the cabin into a sleeping space in just 20 seconds.
