The岚图 Dreamer 9 made its global debut in early July, positioned as a mid-to-large luxury executive MPV. It is expected to launch in the second half of this year with a price tag likely exceeding RMB 500,000. The vehicle will be offered in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric (BEV) variants, all developed on an L3-level autonomous driving architecture. It features an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade main LiDAR and three solid-state blind-spot LiDARs. In terms of design, the Dreamer 9 continues the brand’s signature “Eastern Luxury” design language. It features a retractable illuminated hood ornament that supports customizable deployment logic and welcome lighting sequences. The front fascia sports a vertical waterfall-style chrome grille paired with dual full-color DLP “Ziwei Star Pavilion” headlights. With overall dimensions of 5,325 mm (length) × 1,998 mm (width) × 1,823/1,805 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 3,200 mm, the vehicle offers a seven-seat layout. It rides on 20-inch chrome-finished wheels and includes chrome accents throughout the body; the D-pillar can be optionally adorned with a bespoke English-script artistic emblem. Both second- and third-row windows come standard with LC adaptive dimming glass, allowing seamless switching between transparent viewing and privacy shading modes. The rear features crystal-cut taillights. Under the hood, all variants are equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform and CATL batteries. The PHEV version combines a 1.5T engine with dual front-and-rear motors, delivering a combined output of 555 kW and paired with a 65 kWh battery pack. The BEV variant features front and rear motors rated at 175 kW and 300 kW respectively, powered by a 120 kWh battery—the largest capacity currently available among MPVs on the market—and achieves a top speed of 200 km/h. Additionally, the Dreamer 9 offers extensive customization options, including single-tone or two-tone paint schemes, multiple wheel designs, bespoke character lines, and choices of front bumpers and headlight styles.
