From January to June 2026, Geely Holding Group achieved total sales of 1,934,842 vehicles, setting a new record high for the same period in its history. Of this, sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 1,100,893 units, up 10% year-over-year, accounting for a NEV penetration rate of 56.9%. During the same period, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited reported sales of 1,422,958 vehicles—also a historical high for the first half of the year. Combined NEV sales from its Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr brands totaled 799,457 units, an increase of 10% year-over-year, with a NEV penetration rate of 56%. In June alone, monthly sales reached 240,799 units, marking the fourth consecutive month of both year-over-year and month-over-month growth. By brand: - Geely’s China Star series sold 581,000 units in the first half, ranking first among domestic-brand ICE vehicle models. - Geely Galaxy recorded sales of 520,000 units. - Lynk & Co sold 144,000 units, with NEVs comprising 65% of its total sales. - Zeekr delivered 178,000 vehicles, surging 97% year-over-year—the fastest growth among premium NEV brands. - Volvo Cars reported global sales of 325,000 units, including 161,000 NEVs, up 3.8% year-over-year, achieving a 50% NEV penetration rate. - Polestar sold 30,400 units, setting a new record for the brand during the same period in its history. In overseas markets, Geely Auto exported 474,228 vehicles in the first half of 2026, a 158% year-over-year increase that surpassed its full-year export volume for 2025. NEV exports totaled 277,189 units, soaring 585% year-over-year and representing 58% of total exports. In June alone, exports exceeded 100,000 units for the first time, reaching 102,874 units. Remote New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group sold 88,000 units in the first half, up 41.3% year-over-year, leading the NEV commercial vehicle segment in overseas exports. Proton sold 100,300 vehicles in the first half, an increase of 39.1% year-over-year, marking its best-ever first-half performance since 2011.
