As of the stock market close on July 15, 2026, 35 listed companies in the lithium battery industry chain have released their earnings forecasts for the first half of the year. Among them, 32 companies reported expected year-on-year profit growth, a return to profitability, or reduced losses, while only three saw declines. By segment, upstream lithium mining and lithium salt producers benefited from simultaneous increases in both output and prices, generally reporting higher expected earnings. Midstream firms producing separators and electrolytes, as well as downstream manufacturers of power batteries and energy storage systems, also saw improved profitability, reflecting a broad-based recovery in industry sentiment across the entire chain.
