The 2027 Chery Exeed ES is officially scheduled to launch on July 20. Pre-sales began in June, with the original launch date set for July 12 before being postponed. The new model will be offered in three variants: the Range-Extended 302 Max LiDAR Edition (RMB 189,900), the Range-Extended 255 Ultra AWD LiDAR Edition (RMB 209,900), and the BEV 860 Max LiDAR Edition (RMB 219,900), with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 189,900 to RMB 219,900. Two new exterior colors—Warm Cloud Apricot and Starlight Silver—are added, while interior options include Rosy Dawn Red and Elegant Gray. The vehicle measures 4,945 mm long, 1,978 mm wide, and 1,480 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It features the upgraded Feiyu Chassis 2.0, equipped with a high-end double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link independent rear suspension, delivering a 50% improvement in lateral support. All variants come standard with an Orin-Y chip and LiDAR, supported by a total of 27 high-precision perception sensors. The steering system uses R-EPS technology, offering 30% higher torque output, steering assist accuracy of ±0.5°, a response time of 0.08 seconds, and steering noise as low as 45 dB. The range-extended versions are powered by a 1.5T range extender with a thermal efficiency of 45.79%, capable of converting 1 liter of fuel into 3.71 kWh of electricity. WLTC-rated fuel consumption under depleted-battery conditions is 5.1 L/100 km. The AWD range-extended variant delivers a maximum output of 345 kW and peak torque of 634 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The BEV version features a 100 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 860 km and an energy consumption of 12.4 kWh per 100 km. It supports an 800V high-voltage platform, enabling a charge from 30% to 80% state of charge (SOC) in just 15 minutes.
