Beijing Off-Road’s all-new SUV, the Taitan 700, will open for pre-orders on July 21, with an expected starting price above RMB 400,000. The vehicle shares nearly identical styling with the BJ60, featuring a two-tone body, multi-spoke wheels, and an 896-line dual-beam imaging-grade LiDAR mounted on the roof. It will be equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 advanced driver-assistance system, supporting off-road NOA, urban NOA, and highway NOA functions. According to official filings, the vehicle measures 5,040 mm in length, 1,959 mm in width, and 1,926 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Power comes from a 1.5T engine paired with dual electric motors, and it features a body-on-frame construction.
