Xiaomi Releases Owner Survey Data and Range/Performance Specs for Pengcheng Series

Xiaomi founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun stated on social media that according to Xiaomi's owner survey report, 70% of owners drive no more than 400 kilometers per week, and 85% of owners travel less than 400 kilometers on weekdays. He noted that the CLTC-rated all-electric range of 505 kilometers is sufficient for most users to charge just once a week, and when paired with a range extender, it effectively eliminates range anxiety. Xiaomi’s new “Pengcheng” series models, the N70 and N90, have officially entered the pre-launch phase. The entire lineup offers a maximum CLTC all-electric range of 505 kilometers and features a battery pack with a capacity of up to 76 kWh.
