Leapmotor B01 and B10 Launch: Starting at ¥95,800, Full Lineup Supports 800V High-Voltage Fast Charging

On July 16, Leapmotor launched two new all-electric compact vehicles—the B01 sedan and the B10 SUV—both hitting the market simultaneously. The B01 is offered in five variants priced between RMB 95,800 and RMB 119,800, while the B10 also comes in five trims, ranging from RMB 99,800 to RMB 125,800. Both models are built on Leapmotor’s LEAP 3.5 technology architecture, with long-range versions featuring a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform. Externally, they follow the brand’s signature design language: the B01 sports a “Tissot Fluid” silhouette, highlighted by a closed-off front fascia,贯穿式 flying-wing LED daytime running lights with dynamic welcome lighting effects, and an AGS active grille. It measures 4,770 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, and 1,490 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm and a drag coefficient of just 0.197. The B10 shares the closed-front design and贯穿式 LED DRLs but adds auxiliary driving status indicator lights. Its dimensions are 4,515 mm × 1,885 mm × 1,655 mm, with the same 2,735 mm wheelbase. Inside, the B01 adopts a minimalist, tech-forward aesthetic, upholstered in OEKO-TEX-certified eco-friendly fabric marketed as “zero formaldehyde,” with 99.9% UV-blocking capability. The B10 introduces new interior color schemes—Clear Mist Gray and Forest Brown—for a warmer ambiance. Both models come standard across the lineup with Qualcomm’s SA8295P chip, paired with a floating HD center touchscreen (a 17.3-inch 3K display on the B10) and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Higher trims offer an optional 55-inch AR-HUD. The infotainment system supports dual large AI voice models, “see-it-say-it” functionality, continuous offline voice interaction, and multi-platform smartphone connectivity. The B01 features a magnetic sliding storage module for the front passenger seat, while B10 rear passengers can independently activate the voice assistant. For comfort, higher-end trims offer optional front zero-gravity seats with 10-point massage, ventilation, heating, and a one-touch recline function. The B01 boasts a 1.83㎡ panoramic glass roof, while the B10 benefits from superior rear headroom thanks to its SUV body height. Both models feature Leap Sound audio systems with 14 speakers, including independent headrest audio zones for the driver; the B10 further includes standard 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging. In terms of intelligent driving, laser radar-equipped variants feature a roof-mounted LiDAR equivalent to 128 lines of resolution, supported by 27 high-precision sensors throughout the vehicle and powered by the Qualcomm SA8650 ADAS chip. This setup enables end-to-end navigation-assisted driving from parking spot to parking spot, including AEB (4–130 km/h), AES (80–130 km/h), HPA memory parking, and MAI misacceleration suppression. Powertrain-wise, both models use a rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive layout with a six-in-one oil-cooled high-performance e-drive unit, available in 180 kW and 185 kW output versions, delivering peak torque of 240 N·m and achieving 0–100 km/h acceleration in the 6-second range. Top trims are equipped with a 69.7 kWh CATL battery pack, offering CLTC ranges of 670 km for the B01 and 610 km for the B10. All variants support 3C fast charging, enabling a 30%–80% charge in as little as 16 minutes. The chassis was jointly tuned by Chinese and European engineering teams, featuring multi-link independent rear suspension and Leapmotor’s LMC integrated motion control system, which incorporates smooth start-up control, dynamic steering assist, blowout stability control, and high-speed pre-stabilization functions. Both vehicles utilize CTC 2.0 cell-to-chassis battery integration technology, achieving a torsional rigidity of 36,300 Nm/deg. The B10 maintains a balanced 50:50 front-rear weight distribution, with suspension tuning specifically optimized for SUV driving scenarios to enhance ride comfort and bump absorption.
