On July 16, IM Motors launched its flagship SUV model, the LS9 Hyper, with both the official MSRP and launch promotional price set at RMB 349,800. The vehicle is equipped with a gold-badge Hurricane triple-motor setup and a vector-based all-wheel-drive system, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds. Powertrain-wise, it features an 800V Stellar Super Range-Extended technology platform, a Zephyr 1.5T range-extender dedicated engine, and a CATL 66 kWh Super FreeMax battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 390 km and a combined range of up to 1,460 km. Chassis configurations include a full-by-wire steering system, intelligent four-wheel steering with ±24° rear-wheel angle, an MKC2 brake-by-wire system, an extra-long-stroke intelligent dual-chamber closed-loop air suspension, and intelligent electronically controlled dampers. Inside the cabin, occupants are treated to a Danish B&O 25-speaker audio system, the IM ULTRA AGENT 1.0 intelligent operating system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip, a 27.1-inch driver display, a 15.6-inch 3K passenger entertainment screen, and a 21.5-inch 4K second-row entertainment display. Interior highlights include exclusive “Gilded Silver Radiance” Hyper badging, “Gilded Golden Thread” Hyper embroidery, full-grain Nappa leather upholstery, a 4D mechanical massage function for the driver’s seat, and standard three-zero gravity comfort seats throughout the cabin. Additionally, the right-side second-row seat receives complimentary 4D mechanical massage functionality for a limited time. Concurrently, IM Motors also introduced the LS9 52 Ultra By-Wire Edition, priced at a launch promotional rate of RMB 319,800 (official MSRP: RMB 349,800).
