Chery's Exeed EX6 production-intent concept car has unveiled its exterior highlights, featuring a two-tone floating roof design centered around the brand’s "Stellar Exploration Aesthetics." The vehicle is equipped with a matrix of 776 star-like LED lighting elements made from high-transparency optical materials, capable of producing dynamic light-and-shadow effects. Six blue indicator lights for intelligent driving assistance are integrated into the exterior, blending functionality with a sense of occasion. The rear lamps adopt a "Flowing Starlight Track" design. The EX6 is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. According to filings submitted to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the EX6 will feature a five-seat layout and be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5T turbocharged engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW. While specific motor specifications have not yet been disclosed, based on the brand’s existing Yaoguang C-DM model, the EX6 is expected to be offered in both front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants. The FWD version may come with either a 150 kW or 165 kW front-mounted single motor, while the AWD variant is likely to feature a dual-motor setup with a 165 kW front motor and a 175 kW rear motor.
