The XPeng MONA L03 officially launched on July 16, securing over 20,000 firm orders within just seven minutes and reaching a cumulative total of 46,859 firm orders within one hour. The model is available in both all-electric and range-extended variants, with a starting price of RMB 123,800. Deliveries of the range-extended version are scheduled to begin in late August. Designed under the leadership of Juan Ma, former Ferrari exterior designer, the vehicle is powered by XPeng’s self-developed Turing AI chip: the Max trim features a single chip delivering 750 TOPS of computing power and runs the distilled version of the second-generation VLA; the Ultra SE trim is equipped with dual chips, offering 1,500 TOPS of computing power and supporting the full-featured second-generation VLA.
